We always wanted to build an eco house.Natural building materials, a perma cultur garden, fresh spring water, a salt water pool and with the view of the sun setting in the pacific ocean. All located in a safe community, with maximum privacy, in the middle of nature, all while not being more than 20 minutes away from a city and the most beautiful beach on earth.
That was a dream for the longest time. This dream finally came true in 2021, when we finished this dream house filled with artistic, natural art, and an open building style, that does make you feel, as you are sitting right inside the beautiful nature of Costa Rica. Our vision from the very beginning was to design and create a home where the border between secluded living space and nature, between inside and outside is no longer clear. We wanted to create a feeling as if you are surrounded by nature, living in nature even inside the house, and feel at home even outside on the patio or the garden.
We supported that vision, not only with the open natural design, avoiding straight lines and 90 degree angles, but also by using almost100% natural materials. Mostly wood, river rocks, glas and natural tiles
The end result is a a truly one of a kind eco-friendly home. The one and only Sundance Eco Project.
Would you like to enjoy the wonderful year-round warm climate of paradise Costa Rica and still not miss out on fresh forest mountain air, the wonderful sound of the tropical mountains, the rustling of the wind in the big trees, the wonderful view of the sun setting in the Pacific Ocean and complete freedom from the noises of civilization?
Are you used to having a lot of space and want to maintain absolute privacy?
Eventhough our project has become somewhat of an internet star through our famous building video documentary on Youtube, we still can guarantee maximum privacy. The house is located in a gated, ecologically conscious community of 120 hectares and sits at the end of a one way road up on a mountain ridge. Nobody ever gets up there, and still in a couple of minutes drive down the road you are in Samara where you have several restaurants, a post office, a massage school, many Yoga places, an organic food store, supermarkets and even a doctor and pharmacy.
Would you like to maintain your health by swimming in a salt-water pool, doing adventure tours on the quads, walking in the woods or going on hikes in the mountains or on of the most beautiful beaches on earth that is close by whenever you feel like it?
Would you like to accommodate guests at all times who, like you, value peace and privacy?

The Key to Costa Rica
Sámara is located the the famous blue zone. (Blue Zones are regions of the world where a higher than usual number of people live much longer than average. Check out Wikipedia or National Geographic who first reported on this scientific phenomenon in 2005)
Samara has a superb coral reef and its own picturesque wooded island in the bay ~ Isla Chora. It's popular with swimmers and windsurfers, and it's an ideal beach for your kids.
Samara is not only a charming beach resort, with a wide choice of friendly and attractive hotels, restaurants, bars and discos, but, unlike other Pacific Ocean resorts, it is also a thriving fishing and farming community.
There are cowboys and cattle drives, fishing boats returning at sunset, exotic fruit harvests, specialty and organic farming, tree nurseries and reforestation projects and many other authentic and vital Sámara activities. There are unusual plant and animal species, ancient Indian sites, underwater caves and coastal and mountain nature trails.
Guitar, Spanish, aerobic and dancing lessons, many Yoga places, an organic food store and massages are available. And there is even a Sámara art gallery with its own resident artist.
There are large amounts of dolphins, whales and sea turtles passing by just some few hundred meters away from the beach.
